There are a few different ways to help with the costs of accessing our services at Words and Wellbeing Speech Pathology:

Private Health Insurance

You may be able to claim a rebate for our speech pathology services from your private health insurer. It's best to contact your insurer to check if your policy includes coverage for speech pathology.

Medicare

Through the Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), also sometimes known as the Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC).

We have Medicare provider numbers, enabling us to offer services under Medicare's Chronic Disease Management items. Eligibility for this plan is determined by your GP and is based on the level of need. This plan allows for a partial refund for up to five services per calendar year. Please note that the refund won't cover the full cost of sessions, and payment in full is required before claiming the refund. We do not provide bulk billing.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Words and Wellbeing Speech Pathology is not a registered provider under the NDIS, meaning we're unable to offer services to clients who are NDIA-managed. We can, however, provide services to individuals who are self or plan-managed under NDIS.
